Ed and Spurgeon’s Wedding Journey – Wedding in White Post, VA

Ed and Spurgeon are a charming couple who chose Six Star Events to create the perfect wedding experience with our catering and event rental services.


It was a long journey for all of us filled with plenty of emotions, creative ideas, and difficult tasks that came from navigating the pandemic. Considering their wedding was rescheduled so many times, their positivity and determination kept us all going. Through our journey, I got to experience their vision for the perfect day; colorful, whimsical, and focused on love!

Working with Ed and Spurgeon was an absolute joy—they were so positive throughout the entire process. They made sure to keep in mind what was most important for them—the celebration of their love—and used that as a foundation when making decisions about their wedding. With this in mind, they had a vision that was centered around delicious cuisine, festive libations, and colorful decor.

When the day of their wedding finally arrived, it truly exceeded all expectations! Everything went off without a hitch which is no surprise considering how hard we all worked together every step of the way!

About the Venue in White Post, VA

We had the pleasure of providing catering and event rental services at a private residence. Alongside all of our amazing wedding vendor partners, we created a welcoming space for Ed, Spurgeon and all their guests to celebrate!
